What we do
From a dripping tap to a full bathroom rebuild. Scroll through the work and watch the water change shape.
Burst pipes, leaking taps, running toilets and new installations. We fix it properly the first time, then pressure-test the line so it stays fixed.
Cold shower? Burst geyser? We repair and replace electric geysers, along with the valves, drip trays and pipework that keep them safe.
We supply and install solar water heating and domestic or commercial heat pumps, so the sun does more of the work.
Domestic and commercial gas installations, including LP gas geysers that keep the hot water running through load-shedding.
Rising water bill? Damp patch on the wall? We trace the leak to its source before anything gets broken open, then fix the damage.
Blocked drains, grease traps, septic tanks and storm water. We clear the blockage and sort out what caused it.
Plumbing and general building. Bathrooms, tiling, roofing, ceilings, painting, carpentry, garage doors and CCTV, all under one contractor.
Rainwater harvesting, tanks, filtration and purification. Keep water on hand when the municipal supply doesn't come through.
Emergencies
Burst pipes and geysers don't wait for office hours, and neither do we.
Turn the geyser off at the DB board, close the main stopcock, and open a hot tap to release the pressure.
We find the cause, fix it properly and test the line before we pack up. Then we mop up after ourselves.

Plumber Boyz started with a single plumber and an assistant. Today there are five plumbers and four assistants, and the owner, Alec van Heerden, still takes the after-hours calls.

It depends on your roof, how much hot water you use and your budget. Solar uses free sunshine, heat pumps use far less electricity than an element, and gas keeps working during load-shedding. We'll look at your setup and recommend the right one.
IOPSA member companies employ PIRB-licensed plumbers, and work like geyser installations needs a plumbing Certificate of Compliance. Ask us about it when you book.
